Medline Plus: Obesity - This site is a service provided by the U.S. National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health. It contains news, reports, and much more information on obesity along with links to many additional sites.

American Obesity Association - Provides information about overweight, obesity and treatment strategies. AOA advocates with the government and health care and insurance industries for research and access to health care.

Clinical Guidelines on Overweight & Obesity - The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute offers clinical guidelines on the identification, evaluation, and treatment of overweight and obesity in adults. This site includes information for consumers and professionals.

America on the Move™ - This national campaign helps individuals manage weight through increasing physical activity and decreasing calorie intake by making small daily changes. It has tools for tracking physical activity, email reminders and motivators, tips for making food and activity changes.

ShapeUp America! - Shape Up America! is a national initiative to promote healthy weight and increased physical activity in America. This site contains interactive quizzes, resources and information, and diet and exercise tips for maintaining healthy weight and physical activity.
